UPDATED: Canceled: Volunteers needed for April 14 Lake Fayetteville cleanup event

Update: We just received word that this cleanup has been canceled “due to special circumstances” and that it will be rescheduled either later this year.


The Lake Fayetteville Watershed Partnership will hold its annual Lake Fayetteville cleanup on Saturday, April 14.

The event is part of the Great American Cleanup sponsored in part by Keep Arkansas Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. inside the Lake Fayetteville Environmental Study Center located at 511 E. Lakeview Dr. in Springdale.

The cleanup is open to the public and lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Participants are encouraged to bring sturdy boots and long pants. Anyone wanting to bring a canoe or kayak is welcome to do so.
