It’s time for another Ranger’s Pantry pet food drive.

City officials and volunteers will take donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 27 in front of Walmart on North Mall Avenue in Fayetteville.

Pet food may also be dropped off at any Fayetteville fire station (see a list), the city’s Community Services office, 125 W. Mountain St., or at All Around Storage, 2650 S. City Lake Rd.

Since opening in 2010, officials say Ranger’s Pantry has distributed over 34,500 pounds of pet food to families who are experiencing temporary financial hardship, allowing pets to remain with their families instead of being surrendered to area shelters.

Cash donations are also welcome and can be dropped off or mailed to the City of Fayetteville’s Community Services division, 113 W. Mountain St., Fayetteville, AR 72701. Checks should be made out to ‘City of Fayetteville.’
