FHS boys win 7A state track championship, girls finish runner-up

The Fayetteville High School boys track team won the 2012 7A state championship and the girls team finished runner-up Thursday in Rogers, according to a blog post by district officials.

Individual first-place winners include Tevin Whitney, 800 meters; Aidan Swain, 1,600 meters; Jorge Gonzales, 300 meter hurdles; Bradley Culp, pole vault; Sydney Conley, 100 meters and long jump.

Team winners include the boys 4×400 and 4×800 relay teams.
