It’s time to help clean up the White River, yo.

The West Fork Watershed Alliance is seeking volunteers for the 7th annual West Fork Watershed Cleanup, scheduled for 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 19., to help pick up trash along sections of the river between Winslow and Fayetteville.

Those interested in participating in the clean up should show up at Riverside Park, located on state Hwy. 170 in downtown West Fork. From there, volunteers will be provided with trash bags and gloves, and assigned to a station along the river.

After the cleanup, participants are invited to return to the pavilion in West Fork for a burrito buffet beginning at 11 a.m.

To pre-register for the cleanup, call 479-422-1014 or 479-225-1611, or simply show up that day and register on-site. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
