City hosts 2013 parks and recreation priorities input session

The city’s Parks and Recreation Department will host a 5:30 p.m. input session on Thursday, June 7 at Mount Sequoyah Gardens, 100 N. Summit Avenue.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will help identify potential outdoor park and recreation needs and priorities for 2013. Following the process, officials will forward the ideas to the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism along with a matching grant application.

Anyone unable to attend the meeting may submit input by calling the parks department at 479-444-3471. Written comments may also be submitted by mail to Fayetteville Parks and Recreation, 113 W. Mountain St., Fayetteville, AR 72701 or by emailing [email protected].
