A paving project is underway that will provide a new asphalt surface to the entire roadway on Rockwood Trail in Fayetteville.
Crews with the city’s Transportation Division began milling work early Monday morning near the intersection of Mission Boulevard. Officials estimated the work to last about a week, unless weather conditions cause a delay.
Drivers are asked not to park on the street during work hours from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The street will be closed to thru traffic during these hours as well. Residents will be allowed access as needed, but are encouraged to allow extra time when traveling in the area.
