Fayetteville artist Sarah Leflar, in association with University of Arkansas Student Gallery (also known as sUgAR), is planning a one-night pop-up art exhibition entitled “Black Hearts” in Leflar’s south Fayetteville studio this month.

Leflar, who received her MFA in sculpture from Rhode Island School of Design, will exhibit her mixed-media work using found objects in minimalist formats at the 2650 S. School St. space.

The show is part of a sUgAR Projects exhibition series, featuring arts programming for galleries and alternative exhibition spaces throughout Northwest Arkansas.

Little Rock musician David Slade (American Princes, The Wicked Good) will perform during the event, scheduled for 7 – 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 28.

The show is free to attend and open to the public.
