Old Wire Road will be closed on the east side of Crossover Road through Friday, Aug. 10 to allow for the removal of the existing bridge and the installation of a new drainage structure.
According to a news release, detour signs will be in place to direct motorists around the work zone.

The work is part of a project that will widen 2.2 miles of Crossover Road (Arkansas 265) from Mission to Joyce boulevards.
The Arkansas State Highway Commission last year awarded the $12.6 million contract Nabholz Construction of Rogers. Once complete, the new road will feature a four-lane divided roadway with a raised median.
Work on the project is expected to be completed in early 2014.
