Update: It looks like GRiZ will open the Elliot Lip show at George’s on Sept. 8.

Detroit-based producer GRiZ is about to embark on a nationwide tour with Big Gigantic, but it looks like he’ll first make a stop in Fayetteville.

According to Pollstar, the glitch-dubstep artist is set to perform at LIT Lounge on Saturday, Sept. 8.

For those who aren’t familiar, GRiZ is the stage-name of 22-year-old Grant Kwiecinski, who has gained attention in the electronic music world for both his technical prowess, and his ability to create engaging melodies over his genre-bending beats since he began making music at 14 years old.

Recent releases via his Soundcloud site, and performances with Big Gigantic, Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, and others have further propelled the young beat maker over the last year or so. He is set to release his debut album, Mad Liberation later this month.

The show at LIT has not been officially announced, but there have been hints of some bigger shows for this fall on the venue’s Facebook page.

We’ll add ticket information here if we hear anything.
