The University of Arkansas is in the top 20 best tailgating schools in the south, according to Southern Living magazine.
Listed in “The Traditionalists” category for renowned game-day rituals, the university could be crowned as the overall winner of the magazine’s “South’s Best Tailgate” competition if enough fans vote for Arkansas.
The of the three other categories – “The Powerhouses,” “The Most Spirited” and “The Style Setters” – include five schools, all pitted against each other in an online voting contest that runs through the end of September on the magazine’s website.
According to the current votes, Arkansas is ranked 17, with Clemson and Ole Miss at the top of the list.
Fans can vote once each day until 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 1 at southernliving.com/tailgate. Votes cast on Saturday count twice toward the final total.
