Heavy rains are in the forecast for the weekend due to Hurricane Isaac, but the folks at the Washington County Fair aren’t going to let it ruin their fun.
Fair officials Thursday announced that the carnival will remain in town an extra day on Sunday this year to make up for the likely rain-out ahead.

Due to imminent weather conditions from Hurricane Isaac, the Washington County Fair carnival will be adding another day to this year’s schedule. The carnival will be extended to Sunday, September 2nd, from 1pm-6pm. Admission is just $2 and armbands will be available for all rides, all ages for just $25!
