UPDATED: Fayetteville School Board Zone 4 voting information

Update: Unofficial results show Traci Farrah won the election by a vote of 267-110. Farrah took 70 percent of the votes to Brooks’ 30 percent.

Local school district elections are today and include one contested school board race in Fayetteville.

Mary Beth Brooks and Traci Farrah are seeking the Zone 4 seat being vacated by Becky Purcell.

Only registered voters living in Zone 4 are eligible to vote in the school board race, but voters in Zone 4 and other zones may vote on the school district millage rate of 45.65 mills which is the same rate presently being collected.

Polls are open until 7:30 p.m.
