The City of Fayetteville, in partnership with Feed Fayetteville and the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market, will host the “Protein, Produce & Pennies” food drive as part of Food Security Awareness Month through the end of October.

The City of Fayetteville is offering free mulch to Fayetteville residents while supplies last. Residents may pick up the free mulch using a pickup truck bed, a trailer or any other container.

Coco’s Lebanese Cafe is coming soon to the Dickson Street are. The new restaurant will focus on traditional Lebanese dishes passed down for generations to owner Genoveva Ancer from her family.

Free shredding will be offered at the city’s Solid Waste & Recycling Facility, 1560 S. Happy Hollow Road, on Saturday Oct. 6 during the second of four bulky waste cleanups scheduled for this fall in Fayetteville.
