Library plans youth Halloween activities Oct. 25-27

The Fayetteville Public Library will host a series of Halloween-inspired youth activities this week inside the library at 401 West Mountain Street.

The activities are:

Thursday, Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. – Pumpkin Decorating – Children K-5 are invited to decorate pumpkins for Halloween. Registration is required.

Friday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to noon – Artsy-Crafty Halloween – Projects will be geared toward pre-school to early elementary-aged children and their caregivers. Drop in anytime to make and take home a Halloween-themed craft.

Saturday, Oct. 27 at 10:30 a.m. – Halloween Party – Children’s concert and recording artists Brian and Terri Kinder will share their new CD, SPOOKY, a collection of 16 sounds and poems “sure to give the little ones goose bumps.”

Saturday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. – Zombie Make-Up Tutorial – This special Halloween-themed workshop is designed for teens who want to learn how to create the perfect zombie look, from severed head to rotting toe! Registration is required and seating is limited.
