The 2013 Bikes, Blues & BBQ motorcycle rally will be held about a week earlier than expected, according to officials.
The annual event, which typically takes place during the last weekend in September, is set for Thursday, Sept. 18 through Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 said event director Coleson Burns.
The change is likely in response to the recently announced 2013 Arkansas Razorbacks football schedule which includes a Sept. 28 home game against Texas A&M. The Arkansas-A&M series had previously taken place at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Tex., but was moved to campus sites for 2012 and 2013 after Texas A&M joined the Southeast Conference. The series is expected to return to Arlington in 2014.
