The Fayetteville Public Library, in partnership with TheatreSquared, will host the first in a series of play readers group meetings at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 in the library’s Ann Henry Board Room.
The inaugural meeting will explore Tennessee Williams’ Period of Adjustment. The group will read a copy of the play then join a small group discussion led by a theatre expert.

You’ll climb “under the hood” of the script and discover the challenges unique to each play-from the perspective of playwright, performer and producer. Read scene selections out loud, share your opinion or just listen. Delve into the amazing world of theatre!
TheatreSquared will present Period of Adjustment Dec. 6-30 in the Studio Theatre at Walton Arts Center’s Nadine Baum Studios. Ten copies of the play are available for checkout at the library’s Checkout Desk.
