The fall 2012 Advertising and Promotion Commission funding requests are in and organizers are seeking a total of $293,115 for 25 events or projects in Fayetteville.

This week’s scheduled public meetings include the Advertising and Promotion Commission, a City Council agenda session, a school board meeting and more.

The latest Flyer recipe is for a delicious looking Pumpkin Maple Cheesecake Tart. It has just enough pumpkin mixed with just enough cheesecake, and the whole thing is brought together with the crispy crumbliness of the buttery gingerbread crust.

Outdoorsman and nature photographer Tim Ernst will present a slideshow of photographs from his new book, “Arkansas Landscapes II” from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25 at the Fayetteville Public Library.

Despite record-breaking games for Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson and wide receiver Cobi Hamilton, the Razorbacks fell to South Carolina 38-20 on Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.
