The Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion Commission awarded $145,328 to help fund 22 projects during its regular fall special funding discussion Monday afternoon.

The commission also delayed a decision on whether to contribute $1 million to the University of Arkansas to help with construction costs of a planned 700-seat performing arts hall.

America Recycles Day is coming up on Thursday, Nov. 15, and Ozark Natural Foods is planning a series of events this week to commemorate the occasion.
