The band that Wall Street Journal called the “quintessential New Orleans Jazz Band” is coming to Fayetteville this week.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band will perform at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20 at Walton Arts Center, and there are still some prime tickets available to the show.

The band will perform their “Creole Christmas” show Thursday night, featuring their unique harmonies and syncopated rhythms to Holiday classics like “Swinging In a Winter Wonderland,” “I’m Dreaming Of A White Christmas,” “We Wish You A Merry Christmas,” “Bells Will Be Ringin,” as well as selections from the band’s most requested crowd pleasers.

All About Jazz magazine called the band “America’s best traditional Jazz band,” and Time Out New York said the band is a “bona fide New Orleans Treasure.”

Tickets range from $20-36, and are on sale now at waltonartscenter.com.
