Map of the proposed artscape project on School Avenue

City officials have just put the finishing touches on an application to receive a $200,000 grant to support the design phase of a streetscape project that includes ecologically-themed public art and low-impact development stormwater facilities on School Avenue.

Walton Arts Center officials will have to wait at least another month for a decision on a plan that would help fund an expansion of the arts center’s Dickson Street facility.
