Bluegrass favorites Old Crow Medicine Show are coming to Fayetteville for a Saturday, May 4 performance at the Arkansas Music Pavilion, officials announced today.

Since forming in Nashville 15 years ago, the group has sold more than 800,000 albums, become frequent guests on A Prairie Home Companion, and toured the world including performances at renowned festivals like Bonnaroo, Coachella, and the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival.

Old Crow’s classic single “Wagon Wheel” received the RIAA’s Gold certification for selling over 500,000 copies. Their newest album Carry Me Back was released last July by ATO Records and produced by Ted Hutt, the same combo behind the latest album from fellow Tennesseans and Fayetteville favorites Lucero.

Tickets range from $32-$77 and go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, March 29 through the Walton Arts Center box office at 479-443-5600 or at amptickets.com.

This is only the second show to be announced for the 2013 season at the AMP. Multiple Grammy-award winning country group Little Big Town plays the venue on Friday, April 19.
