Lots of things come in threes. Blind mice. Celebrity deaths. Members of the band Hanson.

Other things that comes in threes, apparently, are announcements that famous people are coming to the University of Arkansas.

Earlier today we posted about Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak coming to the UA on April 7, and John Legend coming to town April 29. To cap off the trifecta, we just learned that country star Kip Moore will perform at Barnhill Arena on Thursday, May 2.

The Georgia-based singer/songwriter is the singer of country hits such as “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck”, “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl.”

He will be in town courtesy of the University of Arkansas Headliners Committee, a student organization that typically books one large concert each year. Over the last few years the committee has booked artists such as John Mayer, Foo Fighters, Kid Cudi, Big Boi, and others.

Ticket information has not been released yet, but typically with Headliner Committee shows, students will have an opportunity to reserve them first. After that, if there are any tickets left over, they will be made available to the public for purchase.

We’ll post that info here once it becomes available.
