The city’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will soon ask residents for their opinion on the proposed master plan of the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks.
The plan proposes adding a nature education area, visitor center, event pavilion, community market, arboretum and amphitheater to the undeveloped areas of the garden’s campus east of Lake Fayetteville off Crossover Road.
A public input session is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24 inside garden office at 4703 North Crossover Road.
The proposed master plan is available for viewing at the Parks and Recreation Office at 1455 Happy Hollow Road, and on the city’s website.
The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that utilizes a 100-acre land lease agreement with the city of Fayetteville for operation of the garden.
