Do you hear those birds singing? See those tulips blooming outside your house/office? Do you feel that warm caress of spring air wrapping your body like a baby blanket, its gentle wind kissing your face like a lovesick puppy?

If you are reading these signs correctly, you’ve probably already guessed it; The Gulley Park Summer Concert Series is just around the corner.

The Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department recently put the finishing touches on the 2013 lineup, set to kick off Thursday, May 30 with Austin-based band, Wheeler Brothers.

Future shows include Mississippi indie-folk band Rosco Bandana (June 27), piano-playing maniac Jason D. Williams (July 25), and three local groups including party band Got it Covered, classic rockers Uncrowned Kings, and singer/songwriter Sarah Hughes performing with her full band.

Each concert begins at 7 p.m. As always, all shows are free and open to the public.
