One of the largest entertainment stores in Fayetteville will close its doors this summer.
A “Store Closing” banner appeared outside the Fayetteville Hastings Entertainment location at 2999 N. College Ave. earlier this week, and a store employee confirmed the news this morning.

According to the employee, the store will close on June 9. The Springdale location at 2400 W. Sunset Ave. will remain open, he said.
Hastings offers new and used books, CDs, movies, video games, DVD rentals and accessories. According to a recent news release, the chain operates around 135 stores in medium sized markets around the United States.
