The Lightbulb Club will be full of Canadians on Wednesday, April 24.

Canadian rock bands The Besnard Lakes (Jagjaguwar records) and Suuns (Secretly Canadian Records) will both be in town for a show that evening, for a grand total of (at least) eight Canadians, equal to the largest number assembled in once place in Fayetteville since we’re not sure when.

Also, both bands happen to be pretty awesome.

Promoted by former Clunk Music Hall owner Chris Selby, the event is a rare 18-and-up show at the Lightbulb Club. According to Selby, it will be the last show he books in Fayetteville as he shifts his focus to his food delivery business, Clunk’s Hungry Express Wagon.

Admission is $8 at the door, music starts shortly after 9 p.m., and local band Teenagers will open the show.
