Legendary hardcore punk band Black Flag is coming to Fayetteville this summer.

The band, recently re-formed by founder and guitarist Greg Ginn, vocalist Ron Reyes, bassist Dave Klein, and drummer Gregory Moore, will perform on Saturday, June 22 at Rogue on Dickson.

The lineup is not to be confused with former Black Flag members Keith Morris, Dez Cadena, Chuck Dukowski and Bill Stevenson, who are also touring this summer, performing classic Black Flag songs under the name “Flag.”

According to a Rolling Stone article from earlier this week, Black Flag will be playing mostly new material.

“(Ginn) doesn’t want it to be about a reunion, or just some sort of greatest-hits act,” Ginn’s manager and collaborator Mike Vallely told the magazine. “It’s not Beatlemania, you know; for him it’s about the music. So there has to be new music for him to even consider playing the old music.”

Good for You, a side project by Ginn and Vallely will open the show.

Tickets will be $25, on sale Friday at arkansaslivemusic.com.
