Residents interested in becoming a Fayetteville Trail Trekker are encouraged to attend a recruitment meeting at 5:30 p.m. today in room 111 of City Hall.

Philadelphia-based band The National Rifle are touring in support of their full-length album “Almost Endless,” and will stop in Fayetteville tonight for a 9 p.m. show at Smoke & Barrel Tavern. Admission is free.

Springfest is this weekend, and several Flyer sponsors are helping contribute to the fun including the Fayetteville Music Factory, whose students and teachers will perform Saturday evening at Jose’s on Dickson Street. See all of this week’s Flyer sponsor deals and more.

Wakarusa officials just released the stage schedule for the 10-year anniversary edition of the music and camping festival that takes place each year on Mulberry Mountain near Ozark, Arkansas.

The 14th-ranked Arkansas baseball team returns home to face Missouri State at 6:35 p.m. today at Baum Stadium.
