A shooting early Saturday morning on Dickson Street sent two people to Washington Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Fayetteville police.

Residents in Northwest Arkansas awoke Friday morning to find snow on the ground for the first time ever recorded in May, according to the National Weather Service.

The winter-like weather led to the postponement of Springfest, which is tentatively set for June 22 on Dickson Street. The weather also caused the Old Crow Medicine Show concert scheduled for Saturday at the Arkansas Music Pavilion to be moved to June 23.
