The Yvonne Richardson Community Center will host a community input meeting on Thursday, May 9 at 5:30 p.m. inside the center at 240 E. Rock St. in Fayetteville.
The meeting will allow community members a platform to discuss any needs, concerns or ideas on how the center can better serve the public, said Tenisha Gist, center director.
Built in 1996, the center hosts a variety of community-oriented programs including youth sports camps and youth gardening.
Several renovations were recently completed at the center, including new paint for the gym’s walls and court, new lighting and flooring in the foyer, and new fixtures in the bathrooms.
