The Fayetteville City Council meets tonight to discuss changes to the downtown Farmers’ Market ordinance, rezoning of property on Huntsville Road where a Kum & Go is being built, and several other items of business.

The Yvonne Richardson Community Center will host a community input meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday to discuss any needs, concerns or ideas on how the center can better serve the public.

The first-ever Parkapalooza at Lake Fayetteville is next Saturday, May 18, with events like disc golf, kayaking, sand volleyball, a one-mile fun run, a 5K race, and bike rides around the lake.

Arkansas senior quarterback Brandon Mitchell is one of four players who will transfer from the Razorback football team, head coach Bret Bielema announced yesterday.

Mother’s Day is Sunday and this week’s Flyer Sponsor post include several planned festivities including special brunch menus, a card-making workshop, and plenty of gift ideas from the businesses that support the Fayetteville Flyer.
