UA Commencement ceremonies set for Saturday, May 11

An estimated 3,700 students will don a cap and gown this weekend as part of the University of Arkansas’ 2013 spring commencement ceremonies.

The spring graduating class will become the largest in the history of the school.

Ceremonies begin at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 11 at Bud Walton Arena with the All-University ceremony for graduate students, and continue through the day. Ceremonies are also scheduled at Barnhill Arena, and at Verizon Ballroom inside the Student Union.

This year, all graduation ceremonies (except for the The Fay Jones School of Architecture commencement) will be streamed online.

8:45 a.m. – The All-University ceremony, for graduate students (streaming)
1 p.m. – The J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences (streaming)
4 p.m. – The College of Education and Health Professions (streaming)

Barnhill Arena
12:30 p.m. – The Sam M. Walton College of Business ceremony (streaming)
3:30 p.m. – The College of Engineering ceremony (streaming)
6:30 p.m. – The Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences (streaming)

Verizon Ballroom
1 p.m. – The Fay Jones School of Architecture ceremony (no online stream available)
