The Wilson Park pool opens in two weeks.

The Wilson Park pool will open to the public for the 2013 season on June 7. As usual, admission is free on opening day.

The Fayetteville Public Library will host two public input sessions on June 2-3 to gather ideas on the library’s role in the community, and what future services people want.

Fayetteville’s hotel, motel and restaurant (HMR) tax receipts continue to increase this year. Collections reported in March were $228,865, a 5.1 percent increase over the same month in 2012.

It took 10 innings, but the Arkansas baseball team defeated the Ole Miss Rebels 2-1 in second round SEC tournament action yesterday.
