St. Louis troubadour Pokey LaFarge is coming back to Fayetteville.

The musician, known for his unique voice and original music steeped in traditional American blues, country, and Western swing, is set to perform at George’s Majestic Lounge on Saturday, June 22.

LaFarge was in town just under a year ago for a couple performances as part of the 2012 Fayetteville Roots Festival (he actually answered a few questions for us last year). In fact, the show at George’s this month is a “Fayetteville Roots Festival presents” show.

His new self-titeld album, produced by the infamous Jack White, was just released earlier today (June 4) on Third Man Records.

Tickets to the show are $10 in advance, on sale now at George’s ticketing site.
