School is out, but the cafeteria at Owl Creek School will be open to children for most of the summer.

The school will serve free lunches for children ages 18 and under every weekday this summer through Aug. 2 as part of the USDA’s Seamless Summer program.

There is no application for the program, and no registration is necessary. “Just come hungry,” said FPS public information officer Alan Wilbourn.

Lunch hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. The cafeteria will be closed July 3-5 for Independence Day.

Owl Creek is located at 375 N. Rupple Rd., across from the Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club.
