Eddie Money to perform at 9th annual Wingfest on Saturday, June 15

Eddie Money fanatics and chicken wing enthusiasts, prepare to lose your minds with excitement.

The 9th annual Wingfest is set for Saturday, June 15 in the parking lot of the Northwest Arkansas Mall, and Mr. Money will be performing several of his hits at the event.

Admission is $15, and includes all the chicken wings you can sample from 6-8 p.m. Attendees can vote for their favorites, and at the end of the evening, a Northwest Arkansas restaurant wing-making champion will be crowned.

There’s a wing eating contest at 8:15 p.m., and the concert with Eddie Money is scheduled to begin at 8:50 p.m.

For those who aren’t familiar, Money is famous for 1970s and 80s hits like “Two Tickets to Paradise,” “Shakin’,” and “Take Me Home Tonight.”

Wingfest is sponsored by local radio station 98.3 The Keg, and proceeds benefit 7 Hills Homeless Center and Alzheimer’s Association.
