Preliminary site plans for a new CVS Pharmacy in Fayetteville.

The nation’s largest drug store chain may have a head start on the pharmacy market in Northwest Arkansas, but that isn’t stopping its biggest competitor from moving in. CVS Pharmacy will replace the Days Inn motel at College Avenue and Township Street.

City crews this week began construction of the Mt. Sequoyah Gardens improvements project that will include a flagstone paved arbor, a native stone seat wall, a colored concrete apron and a parking area.
