The Razorback football team officially kicks off the 2013 season in just over a month, but Hog fans will have an opportunity to meet the team a bit earlier during the annual fan appreciation event on Sunday, Aug. 18.
Razorback Fan Day, scheduled from 2-4 p.m., will take place inside Bud Walton Arena. Fans will have an opportunity to meet Razorback student-athletes as well as new head football coach Bret Bielema.
Autographs from the athletes and head coach will also be available, and limited to one item per person.
Last year’s Fan Day culminated in an Red-White intra-squad scrimmage, but UA Athletics officials have made no announcement of a Fall scrimmage this year.
Following the autograph session, however, the Arkansas volleyball team will play an intra-squad match next door in Barnhill Arena.
Razorback Fan Day is free to attend, and open to the public. Arkansas begins the 2013 season at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31 against Louisiana.
