Fayetteville legends The Cate Brothers are back at George’s Majestic Lounge for a happy hour show at 6 p.m. Friday night.

Country Outfitter, the new store focusing on cowboy boots, handbags, and accessories now open in the OPO on the Fayetteville Square, is hosting a grand opening and fall festival Friday night. The event will feature live music by Working Class Grass and Backroad Anthem, giveaways, and a ribbon cutting for the new store. Here’s some more information.

The final comedy event at the UARK Bowl is set for Friday night as well, with 12 comedians from the state of Arkansas set to perform at the The Natural State of Comedy Showcase. Admission is $5. Here’s our story about the event from earlier this week.

There’s a big show at The Phoenix Friday night featuring Three Six Mafia member, DJ Paul. Tickets are on sale for $18.15 including fees online.

A new play by TheatreSquared artistic director Robert Ford is set to make its world premier at Nadine Baum Studios this weekend. The Spiritualist, a comedic drama based on a strange-but-true story of an English widow who claimed to channel the spirits of dead composers, opens Friday and there are performances schedule through out the weekend. Collin vs. Adam

Razorback fans, rejoice. Football is back on Saturday, as the Hogs take on the Ragin’ Cajuns of Louisiana-Lafayette at 3 p.m. Saturday at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. For those who aren’t going to the game but want to watch, here’s the television information.

In tunes, Little Rock band Collin vs. Adam is in town for a show at The Lightbulb Club Friday night with extremely talented local instrumental band, Future Day.

Jose’s has a street side show with local supergroup Isayah’s Allstars, Sarah Hughes Band is at Smoke & Barrel, and Boom Kinetic is at George’s.
