Arkansas isn’t set to officially take on the Florida Gators until 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, but it appears as though the trash talking, at least from Florida’s side, has already begun.

Florida defensive tackle Damien Jacobs called out the Hogs offensive line for playing dirty in remarks published by the Orlando Sentinel on Tuesday.

“They’re real physical,” Jacobs said. “I think they’re a little chippy. They’re a little dirty. So we’re going to have to be ready for it all this week.”

Jacobs went on to single out Razorbacks all-SEC center Travis Swanson.

“I just see, from film, a lot of stuff after the play, especially with the center, No. 64,” Jacobs said. “He’s a good athlete after the play. He makes you want to do something to him.”

Something tells us that Swanson, and the rest of the Razorbacks O-Line have received the message loud and clear by now.
