Giveaway: TheatreSquared’s 4,000 Miles

It’s not every day that a Pulitzer Prize-finalist and Obie award-winning play from playwright Amy Herzog makes its way to town. Thanks to local company TheatreSquared, that’s exactly what’s happening in Fayetteville right now.

T2 debuted Herzog’s acclaimed play 4,000 Miles last weekend, and more performances are scheduled through Oct. 13.

The show is the story of a 21-year-old college dropout who arrives at his 91-year-old communist grandmother’s Greenwich Village apartment after a coast-to-coast bike ride. The unlikely roommates find each other infuriating and bewildering, but ultimately discover an unexpected kinship in the hilarious off-Broadway show.

Audiences loved the opening weekend of performances, with raves like “This play was amazing” and “Loved it! Everyone should try to see it while it is playing” posted on T2’s Facebook page.

Don’t take our word for it, though. We’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to the closing night performance. Win ’em.

How to enter

Leave a comment telling us about something weird a roommate you’ve had has done, and you’re entered. Did they label their groceries? Did they steal your pants? Did they have a weirdo boyfriend that wore a shark outfit and swam around in the bathtub singing Neil Diamond songs? Let us know, and you’re entered.

What you’ll win

The winner will receive two (2) tickets to the 7 p.m. performance on Sunday, Oct. 13 of TheatreSquared’s 4,000 Miles.
