The Yonder Mountain String Band Harvest Music Festival is going strong on Mulberry Mountain. Headliners Friday night include Justin Townes Earl, Turnpike Troubadours, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and of course, YMSB.

There’s a huge hip-hop show on Friday night with Blackalicious MC Gift of Gab, and Little Rock rapper Epiphanyat Smoke & Barrel. Update: Gift of Gab has cancelled his appearance. As far as we know, Epiphany will still perform

There’s also a big show at the Lightbulb Club Saturday night with Little Rock songwriter Adam Faucette, Russelville band The Sound Of The Mountain, and locals May The Peace Of The Sea Be With You.

Also this weekend, the touring version of the hit broadway musical, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, has five performances at Walton Arts Center Friday-Sunday. Here’s a link for ticket info.

Hikes

Phunbags Comedy Improv will be back in action this weekend in their new home at Dickson Theater. The show starts at 8 p.m., and admission is $7.

Two Austin, TX bands, Hikes and Goldspine, will stop in town for a free show at The Lightbulb Club Saturday night.

Saturday night headliners at Harvest Fest include Railroad Earth, Beats Antique, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, Elephant Revival, and others on the Mulberry Mountain.
