Halloween pub crawl planned on Dickson Street

With Halloween just over a week away, some of the businesses on Dickson Street are planning a pub crawl in honor of America’s favorite excuse to wear a mask, makeup, or sexy corn-on-the-cob costume and get weird.

The Nightmare on Dickson Street Pub Crawl is set to begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 at Jose’s on Dickson Street, where would-be-crawlers will receive a free punch card and a lanyard which lists all the bars and restaurants on the crawl.

Participants who finish the crawl can return their completed punch card to Jose’s for a free t-shirt.

At last count, organizers said there are about 13 participating businesses.

Expect Scary-oke (get it?) at Jose’s Streetside and a costume contest featuring prizes for the scariest, sexiest, and best couple costumes.
