Fayetteville band Air Loom is planning a Halloween-day photo shoot, and they want you to be in their new promo shots.

Yes, you.

The band has enlisted local photographer Kat Wilson to shoot new photos for use on flyers, as press shots, as possibly as album artwork, and they are hoping to gather up as many locals in their Halloween costumes as possible to be in the photos with them.

The photo shoot will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, outside Maxine’s Tap Room on Block Avenue. The event is strategically scheduled right after the Trick or Treat on the Square festivities earlier that afternoon.

“We need as many of you lovely people as possible to come dressed in your best Halloween costumes or craziest outfit as we have the lovely Kat Wilson put together a promotional shot for Air Loom,” the band wrote in a Facebook event announcing the photo shoot. “The crazier and more colorful the better!”

Later that evening, Air Loom will perform at Maxine’s Tap Room with locals Shawn James and the Shapeshifters.

The band is asking folks who plan to attend to RSVP to the Facebook event so they can get an idea of how many folks to expect.
