How are you at tossing bean bags at a sloped board roughly 20 feet away? If you said, “Great,” there’s a competition coming up that you might be interested in.

It’s called Baggo and Brisket, and it’s a one-day baggo tournament set for 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1 outside the office of local marketing company WhyteSpyder.

Admission is $100 for a two-person team, and there’s a $500 cash prize for the winners. All of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Kendrick Fincher Hydration Foundation, a Rogers-based organization that educates children and athletes about proper hydration to prevent heat illness.

In addition to the baggo tournament, expect plenty of free brisket, steak fries, corn-on-the-cob, ice cream, and beverages for attendees during the event.

WhyteSpyder is located at 1023 E. Millsap in Fayetteville. For more information about the tournament, visit baggoandbrisket.com.
