Volunteers are needed for a College Branch cleanup scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, according to information provided by the Beaver Watershed Alliance.

College Branch is part of the Town Branch of the Middle Fork of the White River, which flows into Beaver Lake.

The urban stream flows underneath Reynolds Razorback Stadium and Bud Walton Arena, and emerges briefly before heading under Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. From there, the stream flows through the Town Branch Neighborhood before meeting with the Town Branch.

Those who wish to help should meet at the World Peace Wetland Prairie, located at 1121 S. Duncan Ave. in Fayetteville.

Volunteers will work to remove debris and litter from the stream banks. Dirty clothes and rubber boots or waders are recommended.
