Local Flavor cookbook signing party set for Sunday at Greenhouse Grille

The creators of a cookbook intended to raise money for local hunger relief efforts will host a book signing on Sunday, Dec. 15 at Greenhouse Grille.

The book, titled Local Flavor of Northwest Arkansas by locals Rhonda Crone and Maliah Pinkleton, features recipes by over 30 chefs, musicians, and artists from the area, and proceeds from its sale will benefit the hunger relief efforts of local charities Lifesource International and Feed Fayetteville.

Locals contributing recipes to the cookbook include renowned poet Miller Williams, Greenhouse Grille chef Jerrmy Gawthrop, artist Christina Mariotti, and several others.

The signing party on Sunday will feature tastings of several of the recipes included in the book, live painting by Mariotti and Matt Miller, along with live music from Mike Bewley and Benjamin Del Shreve.

It all starts at 6 p.m., and admission is free.
