A north Fayetteville restaurant was closed by the state last week due to apparent non-payment of sales tax.
Louie’s Bar & Grill, located at 100 E. Joyce Blvd., was closed on Friday, Jan. 17 according to the state’s Department of Finance and Administration website. According to the site, the restaurant was served a closure notification on Jan. 9.

The restaurant, which appears to have been affiliated with an Oklahoma-based chain of the same name, focused on American fare with moderately priced entrees under $10.
