CANCELED: Comedian Pete Holmes coming to Fayetteville Feb. 13

Update: Pete Holmes’ appearance in Fayetteville has been canceled due to “filming conflicts,” according to a new release issued by University Programs.

Comedian, writer, and talk show host Pete Holmes is coming to the University of Arkansas next week.

Holmes will perform on Thursday, Feb. 13 in the Verizon Ballroom in the Arkansas Union.

Known for his TBS series The Pete Holmes Show, Holmes has also started in two hour-long stand-up specials including Nice Try, The Devil and Impregnated with Wonder. He is the host of the popular Nerdist network podcast, You Made it Weird with Pete Holmes. He also draws cartoons for The New Yorker.

And he’s the voice of the eTrade baby. You know, from the commercials.

This event is free for current University of Arkansas Fayetteville students who pay the student activities fee. Students must show ID for entrance.

Admission for general public and non-fee-paying students is contingent upon seating availability, and will be on a first-come, first-served basis after fee-paying students are admitted.
