A meeting of the Fayetteville City Council began at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 inside room 219 of the City Administration Building, located at 113 W. Mountain Street in Fayetteville.

Presentations

1. ISO Rating Improvement – Fire Chief David Dayringer announced that the Insurance Services Office (ISO) has given the City of Fayetteville an improved Public Protection Classification (PPC) rating. Due to the recent analysis of the structural fire suppression delivery system, Fayetteville has jumped from a Class 4 ISO rating to a Class 2 rating. This rating can affect the cost of homeowners’ insurance, with a lower rating often meaning lower premiums.
